Dear St. Rose of Lima Families,
It is with great excitement that I introduce myself as the new principal of St. Rose of Lima. My name is Mrs. Musgrove, and I am truly honored to join this incredible community.
As a West Philadelphia native, this opportunity is especially meaningful to me. Growing up just minutes away, I understand the strength, pride, and resilience of this community. Being able to return and serve in a place that helped shape who I am is a privilege that I do not take lightly.
Throughout my career as a teacher, assistant principal, and interim principal, one thing has remained the same: I believe relationships come first. When students feel known, valued, supported, and challenged, they thrive. That is the type of school community I am committed to building alongside our dedicated faculty, staff, and families.
I also believe that families are our most important partners. Your scholars are at the heart of everything we do, and I look forward to working together to ensure they grow not only academically, but also socially, emotionally, and spiritually. Open communication, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to our students will be the foundation of our partnership.
As we prepare for a new school year, I am excited to meet each of you, learn about our scholars, and celebrate all that makes St. Rose of Lima such a special place. I am confident that, together, we will create an environment where every student feels a true sense of belonging and is inspired to reach their fullest potential.
Thank you for welcoming me into the St. Rose of Lima family. I cannot wait to begin this journey with you and make this an amazing year for our students.
With excitement and gratitude,
Mrs. Musgrove
